BATTERED, THUNDRA Confirmed For Norway's KARMØYGEDDON Festival

BATTERED (the new Norwegian band featuring former EINHERJER members Frode Glesnes, Aksel Herløe and Gerhard Storesund) and THUNDRA (featuring former members of EINHERJER and ENSLAVED) are the latest confirmed bands for the Karmøygeddon festival, set to take place May 5-6, 2006 at Byscenen in Haugesund, Norway. The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

As previously reported, BATTERED commenced the mixing sessions for their debut album today this past week at Top Room Studio with producer Børge Finstad. The CD, which was recorded at Sifa Lydstudio this past summer, is scheduled for release in Europe in February 2006 via the Norwegian label Tabu Recordings. A U.S. release date will be announced later.
